Hailing from Rhode Island, Beautiful Wreck is an established, female-fronted, high-energy modern-rock cover band in the vein of performers like Evanescence, No Doubt, Paramore, Halestorm, Nickelback, and P!nk.
The band’s versatile setlist is a welcome change from the standard rock cover-band set, creating a memorable event for festival-goers and venue audiences alike.
Vocalist Sabrina Prien brings a dynamic range that channels the grit of Lzzy Hale and the magnetism of P!nk, blending Evanescence atmosphere with Paramore drive. Sabrina began singing in local bars at 14 years old. Her voice later became the hook for numerous dance tracks released by producer and remix artist Sisco Kennedy. As the frontwoman for Beautiful Wreck, she has found success in defining the right path for her voice as an artist.
The band’s guitarist, Sean McCarthy, is a seasoned performer whose proficiency and flexibility allow him to seamlessly anchor the band’s high-energy sets. He has also released numerous records as a solo artist. His musical journey is captured in the music documentary Resilience & Sacrifice. The film also includes Beautiful Wreck’s founding story and features appearances by Sabrina Prien and the band’s drummer, Patrick Guthrie.
Patrick Guthrie, a Massachusetts native, is not only the hard-hitting backbone of Beautiful Wreck but also the drummer for the rock/punk band Six Ten Connector.
Keyboardist Tom Connell is a Rhode Island native whose dedication to his craft is second to none. Known for the running joke that he is often “heard and not seen,” Tom’s contributions are key to the band’s success as a performing act.
The latest addition is Mike Tenreiro. Mike is a schooled musician who recently spent five years touring and performing in New Orleans before taking over as the band’s bassist.
The band’s first single, “I Know You Now,” is a mid-tempo track written by Sabrina and Sean. It touches on the limitations placed on someone until they realize, through life lessons, that they have the power to become whoever they want to be. Currently, “I Know You Now” is only available as a live performance video from their stripped-down acoustic show at The Met in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The band is recording a studio version for release before the end of 2026.
